Windows XP binaries

Requirements

• Must install latest version of DirectX

Download Instructions

• Download ZIP file and save to local drive.
• Unzip contents of ZIP file to a directory.

User Instructions

• Movement - Forwards - W, Backwards - S, Left - A, Right - D, jump - space bar
• Look around - Mouse
• Fire - Left mouse button
• Options - Toggle first person view - F
• Leave game - esc key

Running instructions

To run your own game (become the server):

• double click on the GLTex.exe in the Exe directory

To join someone else's game (another server):

• from the command line (in the Exe directory), type in GLTex.exe <name of machine> - where the <name of the machine> is where the game you want to join is located.

To join the global game (only available within Newcastle University Campus):

• Double click on the PublicGame.bat file in the root directory of the game.

Known Issues:

• Does not always exit cleanly (use task manager to kill process if this happens).
• May not work on some graphics cards.
