An OffShoreWindFarm is a large placement of WindTurbines, placed some distance (but not generally a large distance) OffShore. The main advantage is that they have a lower visual impact on the environment.
OffShoreWindFarms are a great idea and have become a major part of the WindPowerDebate. Their main problem is that OffShore technologies are much less well developed than other systems, and they are more expensive.
All the existing OffShoreWindFarms are static WindTurbines, embedded in the ocean floor. I think these are important, but my idea is that these should be augmented with TankerGenerators.
