The following rules need to be followed while you are using the application in the United Kingdom:
Risk of Fire – Ensure that any lit fires are totally extinguished before leaving an area this includes cigarettes.
Fasten All Gates – Ensure that all gates that you use are closed and fastened after you have used then to ensure livestock cannot escape.
Keep Pets Under Control – Pick up after and ensure that all pets are under control.
Avoid Damage – Avoid damaging other people’s property when crossing their land.
Keep to Paths & Tracks – Try and keep to tracks and paths as much as possible, especially whilst on private land.
Leave No Litter – Leave an area free of any litter that you may have brought with you.
Safeguard Water – Be careful to ensure you don’t damage or pollute any water supplies.
Protect Wildlife – Try to avoid disturbing any wildlife you may come across.
Safety on the Road – Whilst following a road always walk along the pavement if possible. If not; walk along the right side of the road so you are able to see oncoming traffic.
Respect Country Life – Try not to disturb people that live within the countryside and respect their wishes when walking on their land.
