Overview
In the process of looking at annotation quality, we have accumulated all the words that occur within UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot and UniProtKB/TrEMBL and their frequency for all available versions. A popular way to visualise the most occurring words within a body of text is by using a word cloud. Word clouds display the most common words in larger fonts compared to those that occur less frequently, making it visually clear which words occur the most frequently. We have generated word clouds for each version of Swiss-Prot and TrEMBL, with three versions of each:
- Common words and numbers removed. Click for the Swiss-Prot or TrEMBL gallery.
- Numbers removed. Click for the Swiss-Prot or TrEMBL gallery.
- Nothing removed. Click for the Swiss-Prot or TrEMBL gallery.
All the word clouds were created at Wordle.net and displayed in an image gallery using SimpleViewer.
