Sport
Badminton; OK goalkeeper in 5-a-side football; pretty good at getting up hills - completed the Munros in 1993 and the Donalds in 1997, and now working on the Corbetts (17 to go). A group of us took on the Vanco 3 Peaks Challenge in 2002. Some information is here. In 2003 we took on the Welsh 3000s challenge; see the training schedule. In 2004 things didn't quite work out, but some (not me!) did the C2C. In 2005 we had a series of walks. I completed the 2005 Paris Marathon, and repeated this (for the last time) in 2006. To see some photos taken in 2006, enter my race number 35013. I completed the Inverness Half Marathon in March 2007 to raise funds in memory of the wife of a close friend. We did it again in March 2008, but this time just for 'fun', and will have another go in March 2009.
